“What happens when one update gets missed?”

One missed follow-up.
More than one thing on hold.

You can't make a carrier reply faster. But you can make sure your team knows when to check back. A job with no next step can sit longer than it should.

01 / THE MISSNo one checks back.

The update is due, but no one is set to call.

02 / THE WAITThe job stays on hold.

Your team may not know when it can take the next step.

03 / THE COSTWork and pay may wait.

Time goes by. You may have to chase the status yourself.

“Why should I care about one late job?”

A slow job can cost you more than time.

When a job has no clear next step, it can hurt three parts of your business.

01 / CASH

Pay can come in later.

If a job can't move, you may have to wait to finish the work or send the final bill. A job on hold can slow your cash flow.

KEEP JOBS MOVING →
02 / YOUR TIME

You become the one who chases.

You call the office. Then the crew. Then you check again. That's time you could spend on sales or running the business.

GET TIME BACK →
03 / TRUST

Homeowners want answers.

When they ask for news, your team should know the next step. If they don't, you're the one who gets the call.

GIVE CLEAR UPDATES →

“How much work could be held up?”

What if just 3 jobs were stuck?

Say each job is worth $12,000. That's $36,000 in job value tied to work that still needs a next step.

That is not money lost. But if a missed call is why a job sits, you want to know now—not next week.

Try it with your own numbers.

YOUR OPEN JOBSEXAMPLE MATH
JOB VALUE STILL WAITING TO MOVE$36,000

3 jobs × $12,000 per job

This is the full job value, not a loss or a promise of faster payment. It shows how much work may be affected if these jobs are stuck.

“We use a CRM. Isn’t that enough?”

Your CRM shows the job.
But who moves it forward?

You may track each claim in your CRM. But who is set to follow up? And when? A job on a board still needs a next step.

A 20-SECOND TEST FOR YOUR TEAM

01

Which open jobs have not moved this week?

02

Who is set to follow up on each one?

03

When will that follow-up take place?

If those answers are hard to find, that's what I'll look at on the call.

“What would a better week look like?”

Less “any news on that claim?”
More “here's the next step.”

STUCK / NO CLEAR PLAN

CHECK-BACK DATENone

WHAT THE TEAM CAN SAY

CHECK-BACK DATEThursday

Less chasing. Clear next steps. Your team knows what to do.

A simple example of what a clear follow-up looks like.

“Could this help me win new jobs?”

Less time on old jobs.
More time to win the next one.

When your team knows what comes next, you spend less time chasing updates. That can give you more time for new bids.

PATH 01 / GET PAID

Move work forward.

Follow-ups get an owner and a date.
Fewer jobs sit with no next step.
Work can get done and billed sooner.
Less cash held up by missed steps.
PATH 02 / WIN MORE WORK

Get your time back.

Your team handles routine checks.
You spend less time asking for updates.
You have more time for bids and leads.
More chances to win new customers.

WHAT COULD THAT TIME BE WORTH?

Think about one more job.

If you had time to send more bids, what could one more customer mean for your business?

Change the numbers to see what one more job could be worth.

4 more bids × 25% close rate = 1 more job

POSSIBLE EXTRA GROSS PROFIT$3,600

In this example, 1 extra job at $12,000 each and a 30% gross margin.

Example math, not a forecast. This assumes you use time saved to send more bids and win some of them. The free check does not win jobs for you.

“What if nothing changes?”

Which Monday would you rather have?

IF NOTHING CHANGES

Same questions. Same delays.

It's Monday again. You're asking if anyone heard back. New jobs have come in, but old ones are still waiting. You're still making calls just to find out what's next.

Another month of jobs that may have moved sooner.
IF YOUR TEAM FIXES THE GAPS

Your team knows the next step.

You open the job list. You can see who's on each job and when they're due to act. You spend less time chasing and more time with your crew and new customers.

More control. More time. More room to grow.

You don't have to change your CRM to start. First, find out where the follow-ups break. That's what the free Claims Leak Check is for.

Start with my 3 jobs

“What do I get from the free check?”

No long report.
A Leak Sheet you can use.

Bring three open jobs. I'll help you spot where they stand, what's missing, and who needs to act. You'll leave with your own one-page Leak Sheet.

  • 01
See which jobs need a next step.

No more digging through notes just to find out what's stuck.

  • 02
    Know who needs to act.

Put a name to each follow-up—or mark what still needs an owner.

  • 03
    Know what to do first.

Leave with a short list of next actions and dates to set.

30 minutes. 3 jobs. Your Leak Sheet.

One call. No new tools to learn. No need to change your CRM.

01

Book a free Google Meet.

Pick a time that works for you.

02

Bring 3 open storm jobs.

I'll look at what each job is waiting on. Job IDs or short notes are enough. No homeowner names or CRM login.

03

Keep your Leak Sheet.

I'll write down the next steps, owners, and dates to set. The sheet is yours to use, free.

“Is this just a sales pitch?”

If nothing needs fixing, I'll tell you.

I'm not here to tell every roofer they need a new CRM. If your three jobs have clear next steps, great. If not, you'll know what to fix first. You can do it with your own team.

Free when you book by Nov 20.

I'll give you the Leak Sheet to keep. No card. No CRM switch. No need to hire me.

“What else should I know?”

Quick answers.

Is the call really free?
Yes. Book by November 20, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern. The 30-minute Google Meet and your Leak Sheet are free. You do not have to buy anything.
What if we already use a CRM?
Keep it. I look at how your team tracks the next step on each job. You don't need to switch tools or give me a login.
What if our follow-ups are already good?
I'll say so. I won't make up a problem to sell you a fix.
Do I need to share customer data?
No. A job ID or short note is enough. Please don't share homeowner names, home addresses, or policy numbers.
What if we find a gap?
You keep the Leak Sheet and can use it with your team. If you want help setting up a better system for follow-ups, we can talk about that later.
Do you call carriers or handle claims?
No. I look at your team's job tracking and follow-ups. I don't file or settle claims or give insurance advice.
Who will I meet with?
I'm Mustapha. I run Scofield Limited, a UK company. I'll do the Google Meet with you and review the jobs you bring.
Who is this for?
Owners of U.S. roofing firms with storm or insurance jobs that need updates, next steps, or handoffs.

“Why should I book this week?”

Don't let another week slip by.

If a job has no next step, waiting one more week won't help. Free bookings close Nov 20.

Privacy.

This page says in plain words what I do with your information when you email me or book a Claims Leak Check.

Who I am

I am Mustapha. I run Scofield Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 15631074). My address is Bowen Suite, The Globe Centre, 1 St. James Square, Accrington, BB5 0RE, UK. Email me at [email protected].

What I collect

When you book, I get your name, work email, company name and your answers on the booking form. On the call, you can tell me about your open jobs. Please use job IDs or short notes. Please do not share homeowner names, home addresses, or policy numbers.

Why I use it

I use it to book and run your call, make your Leak Sheet, and answer your questions. If you later ask me to build something, I will use it for that job. I do not sell your information.

Who else handles it

Cal.com handles the booking form. Google Meet runs the call. My email service sends and stores email. Each one has its own privacy terms.

My notes

I take short notes on the call to write your Leak Sheet. I delete them within 30 days after the call.

Emails from me

I find work email addresses of roofing companies on their public websites and business listings. Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also reply STOP. I will stop within 10 business days, and I keep your address on a do-not-contact list so I do not email you again.

Your choices

You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to fix it or delete it, or ask me to stop using it. Email [email protected].
